Before starting BSG, Mr. Waterfall was a Vice President at Management Recruiters International., specializing in the imaging and multimedia industries. During his 6 years there, Clark assumed co–management responsibilities for the New England Division’s flagship Boston office, growing it to more than a dozen consultants in five industry specialties.

Prior to his career in executive search, Clark’s career began in the banking industry in sales and sales management, mostly with Citicorp/Citibank. Before receiving his MBA at Babson’s Olin School of Management, Clark did his undergraduate studies in a double–degree program at Tufts University and the New England Conservatory of Music.

Outside of work, Clark lives in MetroWest Boston with wife and two children, and tries to squeeze in as much tennis, mountainbiking, and triathlon training as work-life balance will allow.

Dr. Simon Haworth (BSc PhD) manages BSG Team Ventures’ European operation as well as our Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. He now divides his time between Boston, MA and Cambridge, UK, running mandates based in both Europe and the US.

Simon founded Team Ventures in 2001, joining forces with BSG in 2004 to form BSG Team Ventures, focusing on the emerging-growth company sector and concentrating on the life sciences/healthcare industry. BSG Team Ventures builds Board and VP–level teams for VC-backed companies but also recruits directly for the investment banks and venture capitalists in the sector. In Simon’s terminology "We build top teams for companies who aspire to grow, and for the advisors who aspire to help them."

Prior to founding Team Ventures, Simon established both the research function and the real estate finance business for Savills plc (now FPD Savills), undertook finance training and corporate finance work with Arthur Andersen in the UK and then spent 10 years transforming a private recruitment business from finance-biased local recruiter to international search house. Simon holds a PhD in Economics (’The Growth of Firms’) from the University of Reading, UK.

Clients appreciate Ardith’s strategic perspective on the executive search process. Coupling a corporate background and Harvard MBA with clinical experience and an MSW, she evaluates each assignment within the context of a client’s business goals, organizational culture, staffing requirements and market conditions.

Based on a fundamental partnering philosophy, Ardith builds strong alliances with both clients and candidates. The result is an extensive and highly effective professional network across disciplines and industries.

Prior to joining Boston Search Group, Ardith was a partner at Whitehead Mann Group in their Boston office, working across the US and Canada on assignments for technology and healthcare companies. She was also the partner handling the firm’s executive assessment practice in the US. At Pendleton James before its acquisition by Whitehead Mann, Ardith spearheaded the major accounts group within the technology practice.

Before joining Pendleton James, Ardith was a principal at Aubin International, where she provided executive recruitment for technology companies around the world.

Ardith managed her own consulting business for the prior ten year period, working with clients in Boston, New York and London. Her assignments involved recruitment strategies, organizational and executive development, as well as team dynamics.

Ardith has held clinical positions with both Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s hospitals in Boston, and trained at Beth Israel in Boston. Early in her career, she worked at Pepsi in strategic planning and for Genex Corporation, a pioneer biotechnology startup, in marketing communications and public affairs.

Ardith received an M.S.W. from Boston University in 1992, an M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1984 and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 1980.

Gordon Jackson

Gordon Jackson

Prior to joining BSG Team Ventures, Gordon led the Executive Search practice at the Rockbridge Group, and earlier was the founder of Jackson Search. Gordon first entered the executive search world at Heidrick and Struggles in their Silicon Valley offices.

He was a member of the International Technology Practice active in the Communications and Semiconductor, Hardware, and Systems sub-practices.

Following Heidrick, he co-founded the boutique firm Lonergan Partners. A number of roles there culminated in his leading the Technology Leadership Practice at Lonergan, executing projects attracting senior technical executives to both private and public companies. As head of this practice, Gordon conducted VP Engineering and VP Operations projects across a variety of technology focus areas. Earlier Gordon founded the CFO practice at Lonergan, leading the first CFO searches for the firm. His experience also includes numerous CEO, Sales, Marketing, and Board of Directors searches.

When Lonergan Partners was founded Gordon was Director of Research and directed the fundamental research for all recruiting engagements. While he maintains extensive contacts and networks, Gordon continues to call on that research experience to ensure that every market and avenue of attack of interest to our clients is fully investigated.

He earned a Master of International Business degree from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management (including time at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Montpellier, France), and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
